Where has the mojo gone?

For the last several months, I have had almost no interest in knitting. Which, as my house is covered in various knitting paraphernalia engenders some guilt. I've been trying to coax my knitting mojo back by trying to finish some projects.

For example, I started this Clapotis 6 years ago.

I have this vision of it being almost like a throw, using 4 or 5 banks of Malabrigo Worsted in Tortuga. It's possible that I have bitten off more than I can chew here. But thoughts like that kick in my stubborn steak.

In the meantime, today's goal is to finish the heel and gusset for my Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Heavy Weight Raven socks.

These socks are black and require daylight to handle the tricky bits. Today, so far, is grey. Wish me luck.

Just cast on

Twelve little stitches. That's all you need to do. Just put aside the devices, leave the laptop in its bag and cast on those twelve little stitches. Begin again.

Yarn BonBon

So, in theory, I'm on a yarn diet. Mostly to save some funds, and partly because my goal this year was to work on finishing items in my UFO baskets. But sometimes, a yarn will just call to you, and if you don't answer the call, you'll end up binging. So, I give you my yarn equivalent of the chocolate bonbon: All for the Love of Yarn's Opulence in Love Affair.
